Late morning beach walk. Left before 11am, but people were already setting up for a day in the sun.

I love trying out new wines and the Kirkland Uncorked event at the marina park was the perfect place to do that. Lots of sun and wine.

Took a short walk around Lake Ballinger this morning.

Normally we go out to a firework show, but the fourth falling on a Wednesday this year makes staying up late navigating the crowds seem a little less appetizing. This year I volunteered to taste test Jana’s new sangria recipe and went up to Bothell to visit my parents and eat BBQ.

Went down to the beach in the early morning before the fog burned off. Not likely to get moody shots like these the rest of the summer!

For Mothers Day this year my mom wanted us to go to the Everett Farmers Market. It was bustling with others looking to get out and enjoy the nice weather and pick up something pretty, crafty, or delicious.

Still a little early in spring to depend on the weather being perfect, but with the cherry blossoms doing their thing it was time to get out anyway.

Went on a hike on the Fragrance Lake trail near Bellingham, WA last weekend. Gorgeous views of the San Juan Islands and the the lake, with lush forest along the way.

One of the first gorgeous days this year, so had to go to Discovery Park where the views would help me make the most of it.

Tried chasing the snow up north, no luck but still a good walk.
